BIG ADVENTURES · JUST FOR LAUGHS
The Magic Penguin.
A missing penguin sends a father and son on a royal rescue.
A kingdom depends on Roi, a talking penguin whose disappearance leaves its rulers scrambling. A knight and his son take on the search, following the kidnappers and the clues they leave behind. Their unlikely mission gives them a chance to work together and rebuild a relationship that has become strained.
Why it’s a little special
A playful rescue story with a father and son learning to rely on one another, amid royal costumes and a rather unusual national treasure.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
The official US PG rating cites some mild peril and violence. Kidnapping, threats and physical confrontations may worry younger viewers, although much of the danger is played broadly. Characters trade insults, and the father and son begin with a difficult relationship.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
