Why it’s a little special

Ocean creatures deliver the laughs, but trust and resilience carry the story. The underwater world makes even familiar scenes feel like a small discovery.

General audiences

US film rating

The opening implies the death of a mother and her eggs. Sharks, jellyfish, separation and near-drowning create several intense stretches.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
