Why it’s a little special

An inventive, beautifully drawn adventure with some wonderfully strange turns. Good for a conversation about promises, temptation and learning to listen to that small inner voice.

General audiences

US film rating

Children are lured away, imprisoned and transformed into donkeys. Smoking, drinking, a threatening whale and an apparent death can be upsetting.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
