Why it’s a little special

A darker fantasy choice for families who enjoy quests, strange creatures and old-fashioned adventure. Its heroes succeed by discovering more than the power of a weapon.

US film rating

Frightening undead warriors, a skeletal villain, imprisonment and violent threats. A character sacrifices himself, and the villain's destruction is unusually disturbing for Disney animation.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
