Why it’s a little special

Don Knotts and Tim Conway's physical comedy runs alongside a makeshift-family story. The contrast between childish adults and resourceful children keeps the Western adventure light.

General audiences

US film rating

Parental loss, gunfire, robbery, explosions and threats to children. Most violence is broad slapstick, though the Western setting includes drinking and dated stereotypes.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
