Why it’s a little special

The race, jewel theft and automotive romance provide three kinds of comic confusion. Scenic locations and Herbie's stubborn personality make it an easy sequel for returning fans.

General audiences

US film rating

Criminal pursuit, dangerous mountain roads and repeated vehicle collisions. Thieves threaten people, and reckless driving is treated as part of the comic adventure.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
