Why it’s a little special

A child befriending Herbie adds warmth to the familiar car comedy. The increasingly absurd travel mishaps suit a low-stakes, laugh-first movie night.

General audiences

US film rating

A child steals and is threatened by criminals. A car is thrown into the sea, with chases, bullfighting danger and broad cultural stereotypes elsewhere in the adventure.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
