BIG ADVENTURES · JUST FOR LAUGHS
Ernest Scared Stupid.
One mistake wakes a monster.
While helping children build a treehouse, Ernest accidentally releases an ancient troll. As the creature targets the town's children, he must unravel an old warning and find a way to put the monster back.
View film informationWhy it’s a little special
Elaborate creature effects give Ernest's slapstick a real Halloween edge. The bungling adult has to listen, cooperate, and keep trying when the danger becomes real.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Grotesque trolls, jump scares, children transformed into wooden figures, bullying, and sustained peril. Includes a dated, racially insensitive disguise gag.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
