Why it’s a little special

Oddball's place among the spotted puppies gives the sequel a sweet point of identification. Glenn Close's costumes and increasingly absurd pursuit supply the larger comic spectacle.

General audiences

US film rating

Puppies are kidnapped and threatened with being made into clothing. A factory climax includes dangerous machinery, heat and broad violence, with imprisonment and deception throughout.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
