Why it’s a little special

A fast, funny musical propelled by a spectacular comic performance from Robin Williams. Its romance works best when the characters finally get to be themselves.

General audiences

US film rating

Imprisonment, threats, weapons and a giant snake. Some cultural depictions are dated, and characters repeatedly deceive each other.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
