Why it’s a little special

The familiar musical story receives a remarkably detailed animal world. Viewers who enjoy wildlife imagery may appreciate comparing its naturalistic look with the animated original.

Parental guidance suggested

US film rating

A father is killed, a child is blamed, and animals fight and threaten to eat one another. A stampede, fire and realistic-looking injuries can make familiar scenes more upsetting.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
