BIG ADVENTURES · BIG FEELINGS
My Father's Dragon.
An island needs a dragon. A dragon needs a friend.
After a difficult move to the city, Elmer runs away to find a dragon he hopes can solve his family's troubles. On a sinking island, he meets Boris and discovers that neither of them knows how to do what everyone expects.
Why it’s a little special
Expressive hand-drawn creatures make room for a thoughtful story about anxiety, friendship and the pressure to provide answers.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Includes poverty, an angry parent-child argument, running away, threatening animals, a distressed dragon and repeated danger from a sinking island. Fear and uncertainty are central themes.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
