US film rating

Children are mistreated by adults, with threats, harsh conditions and dangerous animals. Racism, an interracial romance ending in a killing, family separation and dehydration add serious themes.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
