BIG FEELINGS · JUST FOR LAUGHS · LITTLE DREAMERS
Grow.
A giant pumpkin helps a small family take root.
Farmer Dinah reluctantly welcomes her niece Charlie into her home and discovers that the girl has an unusual talent for helping plants thrive. Their attempt to grow an enormous competition pumpkin brings rival growers, strange experiments and a chance for the two to become a family.
Why it’s a little special
An autumn comedy whose eccentric competition makes room for a gentler story about belonging, care and trust.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
The US PG rating cites thematic elements, suggestive references and brief language. Abandonment, unkind adults and sabotage can feel more serious than the pumpkin premise suggests. There are some startling moments, rude jokes and Halloween scenes.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
