Why it’s a little special

Tactile stop-motion detail and dry comic timing create a world unlike most family animation. Its imperfect hero learns that cleverness alone is not enough.

US film rating

Gunfire, threats, animal deaths, smoking and drinking. Characters use the word 'cuss' in place of swearing, and a rat dies on screen.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
