BIG ADVENTURES · BIG FEELINGS
Boy and the World.
A small sketch in a very big world.
When his father leaves to find work, a little boy follows him into a landscape of cities, factories and enormous machines. Music and color guide a journey that becomes more complicated with every step.
Why it’s a little special
Its collage-like drawings and nearly wordless storytelling invite children and adults to notice different things.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Family separation, poverty, threatening machinery, military imagery and environmental destruction. Some sad or unsettling sequences; little conventional dialogue.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
