Why it’s a little special

The quiet father-son scenes give this woodland adventure more feeling than its playful animal antics suggest.

General audiences

US film rating

A parent's death is central to the story. Hunters, aggressive dogs, frightening pursuit and apparent injury may upset young viewers.

Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
