Who makes the rules after the revolution?
The animals of Manor Farm overthrow their neglectful owner, hoping to build a fairer home. But as the pigs gather power, the other animals discover that a new leader can repeat very old injustices.
Talking-animal comedy introduces questions about propaganda, fairness and who benefits from the rules. Older children may enjoy discussing how this adaptation changes Orwell's story.
Political oppression, manipulation, threats, animal suffering, violence and death are part of the story, alongside slapstick and crude humor. The farm setting does not make this a gentle preschool film.
