BIG FEELINGS
The Tale of Silyan.
An injured bird. An unexpected friendship.
When his family's farming life becomes unsustainable, Nikola takes work at a landfill in North Macedonia. There he finds an injured stork and begins caring for it as his own family is pulled toward a life abroad.
Why it’s a little special
A quiet documentary for patient viewers interested in animals, rural life and the bond that can form through everyday care.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Animal injury, economic hardship and family separation are central. The film includes mature worries and some language, with subtitled Macedonian dialogue and a reflective pace.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
