BIG FEELINGS
The Christmas Bunny.
A small rescue starts a friendship.
Julia, a withdrawn foster child, finds an injured rabbit on Christmas Eve. Working with a woman who cares for rescued animals helps her form connections while her new family faces difficulties of its own.
Why it’s a little special
The story takes animal care seriously and gives a quiet child time to build trust.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Child neglect, foster-care uncertainty, unemployment and an injured animal make this emotionally substantial. A rabbit is hurt offscreen, and brief smoking and Christian themes also feature.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
