BIG FEELINGS · JUST FOR LAUGHS
Nonnas.
A second chance, served family style.
Grieving his mother, Joe opens a Staten Island restaurant and hires local grandmothers to cook their family recipes. Rivalries in the kitchen give way to friendships as the unlikely team tries to keep the doors open.
Why it’s a little special
A warm option for a multigenerational movie night, especially with a meal and a conversation about family recipes.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Grief and bereavement run through the story. Some language, sexual references, drinking and romantic talk make it more suited to a family comfortable with adult conversation.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
