A sports drama rooted in daily work and family life. The runners' commitment gives the races meaning beyond medals and offers plenty to discuss about opportunity.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Poverty, prejudice, an abusive parent and violence. A distressed teenager contemplates suicide; some language and a serious street assault make the themes heavier than the sports premise suggests.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
