BIG FEELINGS
COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing.
A song needs someone who will listen.
Ichika and her fellow young musicians meet a version of Hatsune Miku whose songs cannot reach people's hearts. Helping her means finding ways to express feelings that the performers themselves struggle to share.
Why it’s a little special
Fans of the game and virtual singers get a musical ensemble story about creativity and connection. Newcomers may enjoy the songs, though the large cast assumes some familiarity.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
Emotional distress, loneliness, school and family pressures, fantasy peril and some language. Fast visual sequences and a large ensemble may be demanding for younger viewers. Japanese audio with subtitles on the reviewed US edition.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
