✳ BIG FEELINGS · JUST FOR LAUGHS
Air Bud.
Every team needs a good friend.
A lonely boy befriends an escaped golden retriever and discovers that the dog can play basketball. Their unusual partnership helps Josh reconnect with the game, until Buddy's cruel former owner comes looking for him.
View film information ↗Why it’s a little special
A straightforward friendship story with a wonderfully silly sporting hook. The dog does not need dialogue to make the companionship feel appealing.
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Know the story.
Know your little people.
A child grieves his father, and a dog is mistreated by an abusive owner. Threats, bullying and a painful separation are mixed with the basketball comedy.
Our notes are a starting point, not an age recommendation. G and PG films can still include intense moments. You know your family best.
